South Dakota’s Deadwood casinos generated $15.2 million in revenue for June, up 13.6% year-over-year.
The South Dakota Department of Revenue figures show that slots accounted for most of the combined figure, generating $13.8 million, up 14.7%. Table games produced $1.4 million, up 4.8%. Retail sports betting yielded $59,066.
One-cent slots recorded the highest revenue for the month among slot games, generating $11.8 million, up 14.5%. This was followed by $1 slots, up 15.3% to $783,977, and City slots, which recorded $561,55 up 12.5%.
Blackjack reported the highest revenue among table games, posting $638,255, up 24.2%. House-banked poker followed with $475,035 in revenue, down 17.2%.
Among all game types, $5 slots recorded the highest year-over-year revenue increase, up 63.1%. Other big increases included craps, up 56%, and 10-cent slots, up 53.4%. Big revenue declines came from 5-cent slots, down 40.2%, 50-cent slots, down 19.7%, and player-banked poker, down 10.9%.
