Deadwood casinos generated $13.8 million in revenue for April, up 11.9% year-over-year.
The South Dakota Department of Revenue figures show that slots accounted for most of the total, recording $12.3 million, up 11.2%, while table games were up 13.5% to $1.4 million. Retail sports betting generated $116,695.
One-cent slots were the most common denomination among slot games, reporting $10.4 million in revenue, up 10.2%. Other big revenue generators were $1 slots, up 5.1% to $736,238, and City Slot, which increased 32.5% to $555,492.
Ten-cent slots posted the largest revenue decline last month, down 89.3% to $1,407, while $5 slots reported the highest revenue increase, up 102.1% to $206,881.
Among table games, house-banked poker was the most popular, reporting $550,154 in revenue, up 13.3% year-over-year. Blackjack and player-banked poker were also big generators, recording $524,283 and $172,838, respectively.
Craps had the biggest and only revenue decline among table games, down 31% to $85,243. Roulette had the greatest increase, up 109.3% to $40,078.
