Ohio casinos generated $93.9 million in revenue last month, up 5.5% year over year.
The Ohio Casino Control Commission figures show that slots accounted for most of the combined total, up 6% to $70 million, while table games generated $23.9 million, up 3.9%.
Hollywood Columbus recorded the highest revenue and the biggest year-over-year revenue increase in August, rising 15.7% to $29.2 million. Slots were up 18.2% to $22.8 million, and table games increased 7.6% to $6.4 million.
Jack Cleveland was the second-highest revenue generator for the month, with revenue remaining stable at $22.6 million. Slots increased 4.7% to $14.7 million, and table games declined 6.9% to $7.9 million.
Hard Rock Cincinnati posted a 3.3% increase to $21.1 million. Slots declined 3.5% to $14.2 million, and table games increased 20.8% to $6.9 million.
Hollywood Toledo recorded the smallest revenue in August, up 0.8% to $21 million. Slots rose 1.7% to $18.3 million, and table games dropped 5.5% to $2.7 million.
