The city’s main casino workers union has reached agreement with all nine casinos on a new one-year contract as both sides wait to see how bad the financial challenges facing the industry turn out to be.
Local 54 of the Unite Here union reached a deal Tuesday with Bally’s Atlantic City, the final property to strike a deal with the union, President Donna DeCaprio said.
“We are proud of our negotiating committee, our members and our staff who stood up and fought to maintain and improve the contractual pay, benefit and employment standards that make these jobs good union jobs,” DeCaprio said.
