The Missouri Gaming Commission continues to review operations at the Mark Twain Casino, and more penalties are expected when the board meets again on Oct. 28.

Since December 2025, the casino in La Grange has been fined at least four times, starting with $25,000 fine, with the commission’s report citing not only a 20% failure rate over a 30-day period where security failed to update the access log when representatives accessed a kiosk to check for door alarms, but a long history of security short-comings.

According to that report, between 2024 and 2025, Mark Twain Casino had 48 violation-reports generated, with several of them reporting multiple violations, including failure to complete visitor/vendor badge logs.
