BILOXI, Miss. (AP) – Harrah’s Gulf Coast will launch a renovation to its hotel tower beginning in November, which will bring more modern furnishings to rooms.

General Manager Jonathan Jones tells The Mississippi Press (http://bit.ly/1RbUSSm) the plush accommodations will serve as a complement to the casino renovations and rebranding effort that took place in May 2014, including new dining amenities and a 10.5-acre outdoor entertainment venue.

Jones says the $14 million renovation is slated for completion by mid-spring and will include the redesign of all 494 hotel rooms, including upgraded bathrooms, new plumbing and lighting fixtures, custom bedding and furniture, textiles and flooring.

The project will also include renovations to the hotel corridors, elevators and hotel lobby.
