Republican battle for Pennsylvania Senate seat centers on skill games

The primary is just days away, and the race for Pennsylvania’s 48th District has become a million-dollar battle that’s playing out over the airwaves.

For Republican Senate candidates Chris Gebhard and Clovis Crane, the divisive issue of skill games has raised the stakes.

“I think when we when we talk to people, one of the most common questions we get is what is going on with all of this mail and all of these advertisements and all this negativity, and where did it all come from?” Gebhard told CBS 21.

Gebhard has represented the district, which serves parts of Berks, Lancaster and Lebanon counties, since 2021.
