Bally’s Corp. said Friday it expects its new $4 billion casino in New York City to open in 2030.
The announcement came on the same day the Rhode Island-based company secured $400 million in additional financing for the project, which is to be built in the Bronx at the site of a golf course once owned by President Donald Trump.
The previously announced financing led by WhiteHawk Capital Partners, LP will be used to pay pre-construction costs and expenditures associated with the development of the Bally’s Bronx project.
A portion also will be applied to general corporate purposes, including payment of transaction fees and expenses incurred at closing.
