The college football season is getting closer and closer, and just a week from today, the Missouri Tigers will play their home opener.
It will also mark around nine months of legalized sports betting in Missouri, after voters passed the law in 2024, with the money set to go toward schools.
While some money is going to schools, some of the campaign promises may not have been accurate.
“So, I’m not a big gambler but I’m all about having gambling to bring in revenues, I know a lot of times the taxes go to the schools and cities,” said sports fan Randy Doherty.
