Japanese supplier Konami Corp reported a 64.9% year-on-year increase in revenue from its Gaming & Systems segment to JPY12.4 billion (US$77.8 million) in the three months to 30 June 2026, aided by casino openings and replacement demand in its key markets of North America and Australia.
The improved performance also saw Konami book a segment profit of JPY827 million (US$5.2 million) million, reversing a JPY166 million (US$1.0 million) loss from a year earlier.
In a filing, the company said its Gaming & Systems segment was reflective of growth across all business segments, with Digital Entertainment revenue also up 36.5% year-on-year to JPY100.1 billion (US$628 million) and both the Arcade Game and Sports segments locking in single-digit growth.
