Konami reported Friday a 50.4% decline in profit to JPY3.65 billion (US$23.3 million) in its Gaming & Systems segment in the year ended 31 March 2026, with the company pointing to the impact of the US tariff measures and customers’ reluctance to purchase ahead of its upcoming new cabinet launch.

The lower profit came despite a slight 1.0% increase in segment sales to JPY43.1 billion (US$275 million).

The year saw Konami ultimately release its first new cabinet model in six years, the Solstice 49C, plus new gaming content for the cabinet and the launch of a new brand – “Konami Online Interactive” – aimed at expanding the group’s market share in iGaming.
