Japanese gaming giant Konami reported a 41.3% year-on-year increase in revenue to JPY25.1 billion (US$159 million) within its Gaming & Systems segment in the six months to 30 September 2026, with the company citing new casino openings, replacement demand and further adoption of its SYNKROS casino management system for the improved result. Segment profit for the period grew by 154.4% to JPY2.41 billion (US$15.3 million).
The company described its performance in the key gaming markets of North America and Australia as stable, with new casino openings and replacement demand at existing facilities creating new placement opportunities for slot machines. Konami’s Solstice 49C has received “high praise in the market,” the company explained, while the BOMBERMAN game series has shown continued strength in North America.
