Holland Casino has responded to an investigation by Dutch broadcaster PowNed, clarifying that the fake ID used by a reporter to enter its premises was scrutinized by staff more than was indicated in the report.
The Netherlands Gambling Authority (KSA) stated that it would be taking action against Holland Casino’s Eindhoven property, along with the two gaming halls that admitted PowNed reporter Abel Bijlsma.
In a video published on YouTube, Cruks-registered Bijlsma attempted to access five casinos using his own identification, and five using the driving license of a colleague.
On three of the five occasions that he used his colleague’s license, including at Jack’s Casino in Utrecht and Casino Be One in Rotterdam, he was allowed entry to the venue, seemingly highlighting a vulnerability in the Cruks self-exclusion system.
