Could high rollers and music fans from New York City ride a ferry to Atlantic City casinos instead of driving for hours on the Garden State Parkway and Atlantic City Expressway?
Seastreak ferry and interests in Atlantic City led by developer Tommy Carr are in preliminary talks about a service that might be running by Memorial Day 2027.
“We are in the very early stages of this,” Seastreak ferry President James D. Barker told NJ.com. ”This isn’t a sure thing. We’re really just exploring the idea.”
The Highlands-based ferry company was contacted by Carr, and a working group is meeting every couple of weeks, Barker said.
