In her run at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in April, Cyndi Lauper dropped to the stage in exhaustion and shouted down a fan near the stage who had interrupted the show. She was just getting started.
Lauper is booked to return to Caesars Palace for 10 shows running Feb. 19, 20, 24, 26 and 27; and Sept. 3, 4, 8, 10 and 11…
The 73-year-old pop star rose to fame in the 1980s, riding the MTV wave with such videos as “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun,” “Time After Time” and “She Bop.”
Lauper performed all those songs in her spring series at the Colosseum. She also raced through “Money Changes Everything,” feigning fainting as she was fanned by her all-female band.
