South Dakota’s Deadwood casinos generated $12 million in revenue in February, up 14.4% year-over-year.
The figures, published by the South Dakota Department of Revenue, show that slots accounted for $10.6 million, up 14.8%; table games yielded $1.4 million, up 9.6%; and retail sports betting generated $2,455.
One-cent slots generated the highest amount in February, recording $9.1 million in revenue, up 16%.
For table games, house-banked poker recorded the most revenue, at $634,609, up 22.2% year-over-year. Blackjack generated $489,474, followed by craps at $167,987. Player-banked poker and roulette rounded out the list with $85,632 and $23,272, respectively.
Revenue declines came from 10-cent slots, down 102.5% year-over-year; roulette, down 60%; $5 slots, down 24.6%; 25-cent slots, down 20.2%; and blackjack, down 3.1%.
