Rhode Island’s two casinos generated $55.1 million in revenue for August, down 4% year over year.
The Rhode Island Lottery figures show that slots accounted for most of the combined figure, down 5.4% to $44.2 million, while table games generated $10.9 million, up 2.3%.
Bally’s Lincoln posted the biggest revenue, generating $42.4 million, down 2.8%. Slots were down 4.2% to $33.5 million, and table games increased 2.8% to $8.9 million.
Both casinos recorded revenue declines. Bally’s Tiverton reported the highest decrease, down 7.7% to $12.6 million. Slots were down 9.1% to $10.7 million, and table games remained stable with $1.9 million.
