Caesars Entertainment officially unveiled Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe Hotel & Casino in Nevada on July 6, ushering in a new era for the South Shore with a grand opening celebration.

The resort hosted an evening designed to match the scale of its transformation, welcoming guests with a champagne reception before a ceremonial ribbon-cutting with longtime partner Lisa Vanderpump, culminating in a celebratory moment in the Caesars Republic lobby.

“With Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe, we set out to create something truly distinctive for this market. An experience that blends the natural beauty of the Sierra Nevada with the energy and innovation our guests expect,” Caesars Entertainment President & Chief Operating Officer Anthony Carano said in a statement. “The grand opening represents the realization of that vision and the beginning of an exciting new era for Lake Tahoe.”

The party stopped at Tessie’s Cocktails & Chords with live rock and roll performances by Tahoe Tommy and Pier Pressure, and immersive artistic moments that turned the lounge into a dynamic, multisensory experience.

The grand opening marks the conclusion of a multi-phased transformation of the former Harveys Lake Tahoe, one that honors its legacy while redefining the experience for a new generation of travelers. Guests encounter a fully reimagined lobby, a modernized casino floor and a collection of venues that, according to a news release, “bring fresh energy, design and sophistication to the heart of the South Shore.”

Across the resort, guests can discover a lineup of experiences, from renovated rooms to the luxurious High Dive Pool and Lounge and a stellar collection of dining and nightlife concepts, including Wolf by Vanderpump; Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen; and Tessie’s Cocktails & Chords in partnership with Clique Hospitality.

The refreshed casino floor features new slot machines, table games, a modern high-limit room and poker experience, and a renovated Caesars Sportsbook. For something more low-key, guests can check out the resort’s day-to-night coffee and cocktail bar, Cleo’s, as well as a variety of other newly designed bars, including Centro and Celeste.

“Our vision was to take everything guests have loved about this destination for decades and revitalize it through a more modern, design-forward lens,” said Harrah’s and Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe Senior Vice President and General Manager Karie Hall. “The result is a resort that feels vibrant, elevated and unmistakably Tahoe, whether you’re here for the views, the dining or the moments you can’t get anywhere else.”

Together with Harrah’s Lake Tahoe, the destination offers nearly 1,250 guest rooms, blending contemporary luxury with “classic alpine charm” in a North American setting.
