Third-quarter results for Monarch Casinos & Resorts were released late on Tuesday. Revenue, profit, and cash flow were all modestly greater than in the same period of 2025.
Net revenue for the two-casino company was $146.3 million, up 2.4 percent. Profit rose 1.4 percent to $32 million. Cash flow ascended 2.1 percent to $56 million.
According to Monarch CEO John Farahi, the performance reflected across-the-board improvements. Hotel revenue, casino winnings, and food-and-beverage takings were all said to be higher during the quarter.
The win was 3.4 percent higher, while food-and-beverage saw a 1.3 percent increase. Hotel revenue grew 0.9 percent.
“The third quarter net revenue and adjusted [cash flow] growth highlights our ability to drive sustained growth from our two properties,” Farahi stated in prepared remarks.
Ending the trimester with $137.4 million in cash on hand and no debt, Monarch also made share repurchases during the third quarter, buying back $37 million in stock, on top of a shareholder dividend of $5.3 million.
Administrative costs rose to $29 million, due in part to legal expenses. Operating expenses were flat for the casino department, slightly down for all others.
A real estate purchase in Reno and the addition of gambling equipment for Monarch’s nearby Atlantis casino resulted in $9.7 million in capital expenditures. The outlay was funded through cash flow.
Monarch executives said they would “diligently evaluate” merger-and-acquisition opportunities. However, they did not indicate if any were in the offing.
