Mississippi casinos generated $208.7 million in revenue in July, down 0.9% year-over-year.
The Mississippi Gaming Commission figures show that slots accounted for most of the total, generating $177.3 million, up 0.4%, while table games produced $26.3 million, down 7%. Retail sports betting yielded $1.6 million.
The Coastal Region generated the highest revenue for the month, reporting $137 million, down 1.8%. Slots in the region remained stable with $116.9 million, and table games fell 7.8% to $18.6 million.
The Northern Region recorded the second-highest revenue in July and the biggest year-over-year drop, with revenue falling 2.3% to $44.4 million. Slots were down 1.7% to $36 million, and table games fell 12.2% to $5.7 million.
The Central Region reported the only year-over-year revenue increase, up 6.2% to $27.3 million. Slots increased 6.3% to $24.5 million, and table games were up 25.4% to $2 million.
