Marker Trax and Koin Wednesday introduced Tina Robinson as their new senior vice president of gaming compliance. Robinson will serve both companies in her new role.
“Tina’s arrival comes at one of the most important junctures in both our companies’ growth and in the evolution of the entire cashless payments space,” said Koin and Marker Trax Chief Legal Officer Mark Hemmerle in a statement.
Prior to joining Marker Trax and Koin Robinson was senior vice president of gaming compliance at GAN Limited, where she was a liaison between industry regulators and company officials while managing all compliance efforts. As vice president of compliance for William Hill, Robinson directed interstate regulatory teams in compliance, licensing and anti-money-laundering reporting initiatives.
Robinson also helped launch sports wagering in multiple states, along with icasinos in New Jersey and West Virginia.
“Having solidified our positions as leaders in the sector, Tina brings an expert understanding of the nuanced requirements and regulations across all our multiple jurisdictions,” said Koin President Gary Larkin. “Leading our gaming compliance initiatives, she will be a key player in helping us effectively navigate these challenges.”
Robinson will lead the development and deployment of compliance initiatives, helping the companies launch industry-defining gaming technology while navigating important regulatory guardrails nationwide.
“We’ve accomplished so much already in driving the evolution of cashless gaming. Tina’s leadership will be instrumental in taking that evolution to the next stage,” said Marker Trax President Charlie Skinner.
