Illinois casinos reported $192.7 million in revenue for July, up 15% year-over-year, as two casinos moved from riverboats to land casinos.
The Illinois Gaming Board figures show that slots accounted for most of the total, recording $147.2 million, up 15.4%, while table games produced $45.4 million, up 13.8%.
Both Hollywood casinos reported big year-over-year revenue increases after moves from riverboat to landside properties. Hollywood Casino Joliet, which opened on land in August 2025, was up 196%, while Hollywood Casino Aurora, which opened on lane in June, was up 84.4%.
Of the state’s 17 casinos, Rivers Casino reported the highest revenue for the month, up 6%. Other casinos that reported double-figure revenues included Wind Creek ($19.7 million), Hollywood Casino Aurora ($17.4 million), Hard Rock Casino Rockford ($13.1 million), Bally’s Chicago ($13.1 million), Full House Resorts ($12.4 million), Hollywood Casino Joliet ($12.2 million), and Grand Victoria ($12 million).
The only revenue declines came from Harrah’s Joliet, down 12.8%; DraftKings at Casino Queen, down 8.8%; and Grand Victoria, down 2.5%.
