Illinois casinos recorded $192.8 million in revenue for May, up 9.2% year-over-year.
The Illinois Gaming Board figures show that slots made up the bulk of revenue for the month, generating $146.5 million, up 10.3%, while table games increased 6% to $46.2 million.
Rivers Casino recorded the highest revenue of the month with $48.7 million, up 7.2% from $45.5 million.
Other double-digit revenue earners included Wind Creek Chicago Southland ($21.2 million), Hard Rock Casino Rockford ($13.8 million), Hollywood Casino Joliet ($13.2 million), Grand Victoria ($13.1 million), Full House Resorts ($12.7 million), Bally’s Chicago ($12.4 million), and Harrah’s Joliet ($10.6 million).
Fairmount Park reported the highest year-over-year revenue increase, up 106.4% to $2.4 million. The casino opened in April 2025, with table games not available till this April.
Only three casinos recorded year-over-year revenue declines in May: Hollywood Casino Aurora was down 13.9%, Argosy Casino Alton dropped 2.4%, and DraftKings at Casino Queen down 0.5%.
