QCI Resorts, the unified operating platform designed specifically for modern resort operations, represents a career pinnacle for Andrew Cardno, co-founder and CTO of Quick Custom Intelligence (QCI).
“This is the biggest and most dramatic endeavor of my life,” said Cardno. “For 20 years I have been solving the problem of building the integrated resort, a dream that everyone has wanted. What we have done is solve the existing business problem with a new solution. QCI Resorts is not an integration of all the different systems. It is the different systems all in one.”
QCI Resorts is designed specifically for modern resort operations and how it has evolved from a fragmented entertainment industry into an all-encompassing “business of fun.” It brings hospitality, marketing, loyalty, food and beverage, finance, and enterprise operations together with a single real-time platform.
It represents a milestone in the evolution of resort technology. QCI Resorts eliminates the need to rely on integration, disconnected software systems, complex integrations, and historical reporting to manage operations.
“Resorts is not an integration of different systems,” Cardno explained. “It is all the different systems in one unified system.”
Bringing everything together on a single real-time, agentic operating platform, while integrating gaming systems where required, gives QCI the ability to help resorts and casinos replace fragmented legacy approaches with a unified environment where live operational intelligence powers every department and intelligence agents help operators make faster, more informed decisions.
Cardno acknowledges that connecting dozens of independent systems through integrations and data warehouses is a model that belongs to another era. The future, he says, is unified operational intelligence where every department works from the same live data and where intelligence agents help operators understand what is happening, anticipate what is next, and act in real time.
“We have solved the problem of giving the customer a unified experience across the entire resort and all of the amenities that have been created within a beautiful resort property in a unified way,” Cardno said. “People are consumers in the ‘world of fun.’ We love to see things and experience things. Casino resort properties are collections of experiences. They are amazing.”
“I think it is a trend,” he said. “There are dramatic changes revolving around the fun experience. Running 20 systems creates a fragmented, disjointed customer experience. Nothing seems to work properly. The QCI Resorts unified system is all encompassing.
“I think we will continue to add more fun amenities around our resource. Sports, including bowling, movie theaters, are great examples of how the business of fun is diversified.”
QCI will showcase QCI Resorts at Booth #2440 and host the QCI Resorts Experience at Booth #2644 during the Global Gaming Expo 2026 in Las Vegas.
The QCI Resorts Experience will feature the company’s branded RV activation and an additional space for demonstrations, meetings, and conversations about the future of resort technology.
“G2E will be a central focus for us,” Cardno said. “We are moving. This is an entirely new business for us. It is an industry-changing move.”
The next evolution of QCI’s Unified Platform is the introduction of Agentic Resort Operations, which extends real-time intelligence across gaming, hospitality, finance, marketing, loyalty, food and beverage, hotel operations, and enterprise management.
The expansion paves the way for QCI Resorts to include native financial management capabilities, bringing financial operations directly into the platform.
It enables resort executives to monitor financial performance, operational efficiency, and guest activity from a single real-time intelligence layer, eliminating traditional barriers between operations and finance.
“QCI Resorts is what the industry needs to be unified,” Cardno said.
