Eva Pulliam, a data privacy and regulatory affairs partner at ArentFox Schiff, recently joined the company as vice president of legal product and marketing. Brianna Reid, a lawyer for the National Collegiate Athletic Association, also has recently joined.

Pulliam, who spent 13 years at her previous employer, is paired with product, regulatory and marketing teams to focus on legal matters arising from “developing and improving” mobile applications like the Fanatics Sportsbook. She reports to Jane Pollack, a former lawyer at Uber Technologies Inc., who joined Fanatics’ betting business last year as senior vice president of legal.

Briana Reid, a former college athlete-turned-lawyer for the NCAA, joined Fanatics last month as a state compliance analyst. Reid works outside of the legal group as a member of its regulatory team but reports to senior regulatory counsel Michael Levine.

Fanatics has been expanding its presence in the sports betting market and its sportsbook in Iowa this week, making it the 12th state it has launched in. In May, Fanatics Betting and Gaming bought the U.S. arm of PointsBet, allowing its sportsbook to launch.

As part of its launch, the retail sportsbook at Catfish Bend Casino in Burlington, Iowa, also will undergo a name and management change from PointsBet to Fanatics Sportsbook. Fanatics Betting and Gaming also is set to install self-service betting kiosks from Suzohapp to provide better service to customers.
