Colorado casinos generated revenue of $98.4 million in March, down 2.2% year-over-year.

According to the latest report published by the Colorado Department of Revenue, slots generated statewide revenue of $84.5 million, down 1.4%, while table games generated $14 million, down 7.4%.

Black Hawk, Colorado’s largest revenue-generating gaming region, recorded revenue of $75.4 million, down 2.4%. Table game revenue was down 6.7% to $12.9 million, while slot revenue was down 1.5% to $62.5 million.

Cripple Creek, the state’s only region that reported a year-over-year increase in revenue, generated $16.6 million, up 3%. Table game revenue was down 23% to $893,595, while slots were up 6.3% to $15.7 million.

Central City’s revenue fell 14.6% to $6.4 million. Table game revenue increased by 24% to $134,809, while slot revenue dropped 15% to $6.3 million.

Gaming tax proceeds totaled $18.3 million in March, down 1.5%.
