Mississippi casinos generate $214.2 million in revenue in March, down 5.3% year-over-year

Mississippi’s casinos reported revenue of $214.2 million in March, down 5.3% year-over-year.

A report published by the Mississippi Gaming Commission shows that revenues for slots across the state in March was $180 million, down 4.9%. Table game revenues were $27.1 million, down 16.1%. Sports wagering revenues were $3.6 million, up 89.5% year-over-year.

Casinos in the Coastal region posted revenue of $143.1 million, down 1%. Slots generated $119.7 million, down 0.3%, while table games earned $20.7 million, down 8.4%.. Sports wagering generated $1.8 million.

The Northern region earned $42.2 million, down 16.9%. Slot revenues were $34.6 million, down 17%, while table game revenue was down 41.3% at $4.4 million. Sports betting revenues for March were $688,682.

Revenues for Mississippi’s Central region were $28.8 million for March, down 6.8%. Slots revenues were down 6.8% at $25.7 million, and table game revenues of $2 million showed a decrease of 9%. Sports betting generated $1 million.
