Veteran rapper and cultural icon Snoop Dogg will be the initial headliner for the Potawatomi Amplified Concert Series.
The performance will take place June 15 at a temporary outdoor concert venue that will be set up on the former Cargill lot west of Potawatomi Casino Hotel in the Menomonee Valley. A pair of additional concerts will be held at the site in July and August, with performers being announced at a later date.
The venue is expected to cover between 150,000- and 200,000 square feet and offer a range of seating. The area will have a capacity for 4,800 patrons, including 40 picnic tables and two double-decker VIP tents.
