Ho-Chunk Gaming Beloit will showcase Wisconsin-made products when it opens Oct. 23.
The casino will offer beer from seven Wisconsin breweries, including Potosi, New Glarus and Door County Brewing Company. Its restaurant will also serve American Wagyu beef from Hall of Fame Farms, owned by NFL Hall of Famer Joe Thomas in Muscoda.
Ho-Chunk Nation leaders say the goal is to give visitors a taste of what the state has to offer.
“Wisconsin is more than ‘America’s Dairyland,'” said Robert Reider, chief operations manager for the Ho-Chunk Nation.
Dennis Fenrick, senior food and beverage manager, said the beer selection highlights the state’s brewing tradition.
