WarHorse Gaming will break ground on a new casino and hotel destination in South Sioux City on Thursday, Aug. 27.
WarHorse Gaming says the groundbreaking ceremony begins at 11 a.m. on 4501 G Street, in South Sioux City, adjacent to the Atokad Downs racetrack.
A WarHorse Gaming press release states that the project is a $100 million investment and that WarHorse South Sioux will feature approximately 600 slot machines, 16 table games, both live and simulcast racing, and a hotel with 100 rooms.
The property is to also feature Nebraska Ale Haus, which includes a second-story patio bar, convention space and an outdoor concert venue.
