A modern East Indian restaurant is opening at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City. Sitar Indian Restaurant will feature boardwalk views and be located on the property’s first floor near Sound Waves.

The restaurant will have a soft opening in June before an official ribbon cutting on July 17, a casino spokesperson said Thursday.

The restaurant is part of a $50 million renovation project announced earlier this year. The renovation will transform more than 700 standard guest rooms, over 60 suites, and eight penthouses in the hotel’s North Tower.

In addition to Sitar, the casino is adding Federal Donuts and Chicken from Philadelphia.
