There is, for now, only one place in the city where chaos is carefully choreographed on purpose.
For nearly three years and more than 1,000 performances, Spiegelworld’s “The Hook,” staged at 2100 Pacific Ave. in the renovated Warner Theater at Caesars Atlantic City, has blended flying acrobats, comedy burlesque, stripping and high-speed hula-hoop stunts into a fast-moving spectacle on the Boardwalk.
But after Sunday’s performance, company founder Ross Mollison told cast members via email that the show will close Sept. 6.
“Creating an original, resident show at Caesars Atlantic City was an ambitious undertaking,” Mollison said in his announcement. “The show has constantly evolved over the years, showcasing so many incredible artists.”
