The Chevron gas station in Carlin has now opened a Terrible’s travel stop, replacing the old Carlin C Store liquor shop.
Terrible’s, a privately-owned gas station company based out of Paradise, Nevada, mostly operates locations in the Las Vegas area. Carlin is one of their few northern Nevada locations, along with a location in Carson City.
The travel stop includes food and refreshments as well as a casino.
Hungry Hank’s, a burger restaurant found at Terrible’s in Winnemucca, has opened another restaurant at the Carlin location. The Carlin City Council approved licenses for the travel stop in April.
