Starting this fall, the state will operate a shuttle bus between Vineland and Atlantic City to help workers get to their jobs in casinos and other businesses.

The one-year pilot program will make two round trips each weekday between the Vineland Transportation Center and the Atlantic City Bus Terminal.

Gov. Phil Murphy announced the program during a speech Wednesday at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City before the Chamber of Commerce Southern New Jersey.

He did not say whether there will be a fare riders will have to pay, what its cost might be or how many seats will be available on each bus.
