September is Suicide Prevention Awareness month, and Mount Airy Casino Resort was host to a talk about suicide prevention and mental health in the service/hospitality industry.
“The hospitality industry is known for putting on that smile and the customer service and always being happy and bubbly,” said Nicole Krieger, a member of Mount Airy’s marketing team and moderator of the event. “So, we wanted to let our team know how to find help and how to notice the signs of somebody that might be in distress that’s putting on a happy face as guests come in every day.
