Six of the city’s casinos will be bathed in green light Friday night to mark the start of Mental Health Awareness Month, helping to raise awareness, reduce stigma and show support for those affected by mental health conditions.
The Casino Association of New Jersey said Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa, Caesars Atlantic City, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City, Ocean Casino Resort, Resorts Casino Hotel and Tropicana Atlantic City will illuminate their exteriors in green as a symbol of hope, strength and support for mental health initiatives.
“Lighting up green reflects the Atlantic City casino industry’s commitment to individuals and families impacted by mental health challenges,” said George Goldhoff, president of the association and of Hard Rock’s local casino.
