Sports betting is on the agenda for lawmakers this week at the Oklahoma state Capitol, as the Sooner State remains in the minority of states that have not legalized it in some way.
Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma Chairman Jake Keyes said his facility is ready for sports betting if this agreement makes its way to the finish line. For now, Oklahomans go out of state do place their bets.
“For brick-and-mortar sports betting, meaning in the casino, we’ve got a nice little sports bar over there,” Keyes said.
