A man and a woman were taken into custody following a theft investigation out of Buchanan County on Sunday morning.
The Macon County Sheriff’s Office and Missouri State Highway Patrol were notified of a theft from the St. Jo Frontier Casino around 10:30 a.m.
Casino personnel reported that they had gotten a call from someone they assumed was FedEx around 7 a.m. regarding a money pickup.
The employees notified their Security Supervisor of the alleged FedEx call, who later received a separate call from someone using the alias Matthew Martinez.
