A new immersive attraction dedicated to the life and career of former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson will open at Flamingo Las Vegas this fall, according to its producers.
Iron Mike Legacy: The Mike Tyson Immersive Experience — billed as the world’s first officially licensed immersive experience tied to Tyson — will use augmented reality, virtual reality, holograms and projection mapping to take visitors through the arc of Tyson’s life inside and outside the ring. Your ID, a global experiential entertainment company, is producing the attraction.
Tyson, who now is a Henderson resident, became the youngest heavyweight champion in history at 20 when he knocked out Trevor Berbick for the World Boxing Council title in Las Vegas on Nov. 22, 1986.
