An off-Strip casino is giving away the house. Well, a house.
One lucky guest will win a newly built home in the Las Vegas Valley valued at approximately $400,000 as part of a $500,000 promotional giveaway launching next month.
Rio hotel-casino announced Thursday that its “Giving Away the House” promotion will begin Nov. 1, with eight preliminary drawings leading up to a March 6 grand-prize drawing. The casino is partnering with homebuilder Lennar for the giveaway.
The promotion will award $1,000 in free play to five winners at each of eight preliminary drawings scheduled between Nov. 14 and Feb. 20.
