CDC Gaming, in partnership with Global Gaming Women (GGW), celebrated this year’s 10 Women Rising in Gaming at the Day Zero Party held at Allē Lounge on 66 at Resorts World Las Vegas (RWLV) on Sunday night.
The event, which welcomed almost 200 guests, included a presentation ceremony recognizing this year’s 10 Women Rising in Gaming honorees.
This year marked the fifth class of 10 Women Rising in Gaming, bringing the total number of women recognized through the program to 50 since its inception.

Running from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., the Day Zero Party was a combined stand-up/sit-down cocktail event, with guests enjoying an array of hors d’oeuvres plus beer, champagne and wine.
Aside from the official proceedings, the event provided an opportunity for guests to mingle and network in a relaxed environment before the start of G2E week.
There were also short speeches from CDC Gaming’s group CEO Andrew W Scott, Resorts World Las Vegas SVP of Operations Josef Wagner and GGW First Vice President Brandi Ellis.

Proceedings were emceed by Nicole Russo, Operations Director at the UNLV International Center for Gaming Regulation and a 2024 10 Women Rising in Gaming honoree.
“There’s no better way to start G2E week than bringing together so many friends and colleagues from across the gaming industry. This year was particularly special as we welcomed our fifth class of 10 Women Rising in Gaming, meaning 50 women have now been recognized through the program,” said Cory Roberts, CDC Gaming Publisher.

With its expansive views of the Las Vegas Strip, Allē Lounge on 66 once again provided a fitting backdrop for a gaming industry gathering ahead of G2E.
The Day Zero Party evolved from CDC Gaming’s traditional Press Party, held on the Sunday before G2E since 2017. The event became part of the newly created CDC Events portfolio in 2025, following the merger of CDC Gaming and Inside Asian Gaming under Complete Media Group.
This year’s edition returned to Allē Lounge on 66 for a second consecutive year and continued CDC Gaming’s partnership with Global Gaming Women to recognize the annual class of 10 Women Rising in Gaming.
The next Day Zero Party will take place on Sunday, September 26, 2027.
CDC Gaming will be on the G2E show floor throughout the week, with attendees invited to visit the team at its newly expanded Booth 5234 at the Venetian Expo.
