If there is anything Scott Thompson knows, it’s how to be Carrot Top. How to build a show, deliver jokes and make people laugh.
Carrot Top was in prime form again Monday night. The comic who skirted death a month ago played to an adoring full house in his first show back at Luxor’s Atrium Showroom.
Summoned by opening act Rob Sherwood’s booming intro, “Please give it up for my friend, Carrot Top! ” the comic entered from the wings and through the crowd, a first for him. The standing ovation lasted two minutes. Fans in the front row handed him stuffed animals as he walked to the stage.
