Bronchitis has knocked out Barry Manilow’s return to the Westgate.
Manilow halted Friday night’s show after one song, canceling the performance immediately. Saturday night’s show was also off. Hotel officials confirmed bronchitis as the reason.
This is a chronic issue with the 83-year-old vocalist, amid a battle with lung cancer dating to late last year.
In December, Manilow underwent a surgery to remove half of his left lung after doctors detected a cancerous spot. He returned to the stage in April, for dates in the U.K., and was back at Westgate on July 9.
