Terre Haute and Vigo County officials responded Thursday to news that Churchill Downs Inc. might divest itself of up to nine regional casinos it owns, including the Terre Haute Casino Resort.
Of particular interest in the Wabash Valley is how a change of casino ownership might affect the Terre Haute Casino Foundation, which says it is “dedicated to advancing Terre Haute’s shared vision for a stronger, more vibrant community.”
