Summer-like temperatures during the month of May were reflected in the hot slot machine and table game action at the casinos in Northwest Indiana.
Data released Friday by the Indiana Gaming Commission (IGC) show Ameristar Casino in East Chicago and Blue Chip Casino in Michigan City outperformed their May 2025 revenue results, while Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana in Gary and Horseshoe Casino in Hammond slightly declined on a year-over-year basis.
Hard Rock managed to once again tally more “win” — or revenue after paying successful bettors — than any of its 12 Indiana competitors for a 55th consecutive month, with $36.6 million in May win.
