Rank Group said its UK digital business was continuing to demonstrate resilience despite headwinds.

The omni-channel B2C gaming operator said net gaming revenue (NGR) rose 5% in three-months ending 30 September to £216.1m [$286.8m], comprising 6% digital and 5% venues, excluding the impact of closures and other factors.

The news comes just days ahead of the UK’s upcoming budget, which could include floated Machine Games Duty (MGD) increases that would put vast swathes of the UK’s land-based casino sector at risk.
