After more than six months of waiting, the casino in the French town of Berck-sur-Mer has finally opened its doors with 65 slot machines, 20 electronic roulette terminals, and two blackjack tables.

The safety commission, which visited the site on July 7, gave the green light; the establishment, now operated by the Belgian group Infiniti, opened on July 9, featuring a screening of the World Cup quarter-final match between France and Morocco.

Renovated from floor to ceiling by the Belgian operator at a cost of nearly €8m [$9m], the casino will offer 65 slot machines, 20 electronic English roulette terminals, and two blackjack tables. An additional 25 slot machines will soon be added to the mix, with the ultimate goal of reaching a total of 100 units.
