Colorado’s Monarch Casino & Resort is accused of shorting tipped table game dealers through tip-sharing, according to a proposed class-action lawsuit.

The casino in Black Hawk is also accused of making employes purchase their uniforms and off-the-clock work allegations.

A complaint filed Aug. 3 in Colorado alleges that dealers at Monarch Casino & Resort in Black Hawk were required to hand over part of their tips to supervisors, buy their own uniforms, and perform work before their shifts without pay.

The case is Hyde v. Monarch Casino & Resort, Inc. et al. , listed as a labor and fair standards matter.
