The former Poker Palace in North Las Vegas in on the cusp of reopening as Club Fortune North. Reno-based Truckee Gaming purchased the Poker Palace in October for $20 million and closed it to remodel the casino, which was previously projected to reopen in April and June.
After extensive renovations and a complete refresh of the casino, Club Fortune North will have a soft opening July 19 and a full opening July 22, Truckee Gaming CEO Ferenc Szony told the Review-Journal on Tuesday.
He had no further comment but said in May that “the renovation ended up being almost a complete redo.”
“The project grew on us but I think it grew in a good way,” he said.
