The outgoing head of Golden Nugget Atlantic City is “the very best of Atlantic City,” the city’s casino association said.
In a statement released Thursday night, George Goldhoff, president of the Casino Association of New Jersey and of Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City, praised outgoing Golden Nugget general manager Tom Pohlman, who is stepping down May 1 after 15 years at the helm of the casino.
“Tom Pohlman represents the very best of Atlantic City and the casino industry, and he will be missed as executive vice president and general manager of Golden Nugget Atlantic City,” Goldhoff said. “Tom has been a steady leader and trusted partner throughout the years, having a lasting impact on the property, workforce, and broader Atlantic City community.”
